Smith PFO

The Smith PFO would like to welcome you to the 2025-26 school year! 

Our purpose is:

• To promote an atmosphere in which children can grow as individuals, aware of their own worth and value in society.
• To provide an opportunity and encourage parents to participate in the total education of their child.
• To build a partnering atmosphere between school administrators, faculty and parents for the betterment of our children.
• To enhance the teaching and learning environment at Smith Elementary School by raising funds for school supplies and/or programs not available through district and to distribute those funds in ways that supplement the school programs/curriculum.
• To encourage a cooperative effort between community and school by sponsoring community based fun programs that supplement the school program.

In order to achieve this purpose, the PFO shall strive to:

• Provide a forum for constructive communication between parents, teachers and administration.
• Use the proceeds from sponsored fund-raising activities to benefit Smith Elementary School students.
