Suggested Student Supply Lists:
As we march ever closer toward the start of school on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, we recognize that parents and students may want to do a little back-to-school shopping. Our grade-level teams are providing you with this suggested list of materials you may consider for your child.
Suggested Supply List 2025-2026
Class Assignment:
Class assignments will be accessible through the MiStar Parent Connection as of Monday, August 25th at 4:00 p.m. Please be sure to log in to find out who your child or children's teacher will be for the 2025-2026 school year. If you need assistance accessing the Parent Connection please contact Smith.technology@pccsk12.com.
First Day of School:
The first day of school is Tuesday, September 2, 2024. This is a half-day of school. School will begin at 8:55 a.m. and students will be dismissed at 12:10 p.m. The dismissal time for a full day of school is 4:01 pm. If your child is going to be absent, please call our attendance line at 734-416-4850 prior to 9:00 a.m.

Emergency Cards:
Emergency card information should be updated in MiStar Parent Connection as part of the back-to-school check-in. (See information to the right.) Please make sure phone numbers, emails, emergency contacts, and medical information are accurate.
Smith School Open House:
The Smith Open House is scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 5:30-7:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to meet your teacher, explore your classroom, and drop off any necessary school supplies.

Student Registration:
Please visit www.pccsk12.com to start the pre-enrollment process. Registration requirements and forms can be found on the district website on our Registration Page. Once all the documentation is uploaded, please make an appointment by clicking on the Smith link to schedule an appointment to complete the registration.
Complete back to school check-in
Check-in opens on August 17th. It is helpful if this is completed prior to the first day of school as this takes place of completing an emergency card. Login to Parent Connection where you will see a ‘Back to School Check-in’ link on top of the home screen. New families will receive an email with their pin and password mid-August from the district.
Medications:
Students who require medication during the school day should have that medication and documentation submitted to the school office prior to the start of each new school year. More information is available regarding Medication Use on our district website. Written authorization from a physician must accompany ANY medication, this includes over the counter medication. Please call the school office if you have questions regarding the handling of medications.
